CT Farm Energy Program has installed the first Compost Heat Recovery System in Connecticut at Collins Powder Hill Farm located in Enfield, CT. This project was made possible by support from CT DEEP and US DOE. CT Farm Energy Program working in conjunction with the Collins Family, who own and operate Collins Compost, along with Agrilab Technologies who designed, installed, and monitored the system during the first year of the pilot project from July 2017 - July 2018.
