On Tuesday, June 27, the 2017 New England Farm Energy Summer Gathering will take place, beginning at CET Eco-Building Bargains in Springfield, Massachusetts and continuing on to a number of locations. The event includes farm energy tours of Barstow’s Farm’s robotic milking equipment, a visit to the UMASS Agronomy lab, a tour of Happy Valley Organics’ newly-installed LED grow lighting, a tour of the Red Fire Farm geothermal project, and a look at Bar-Way Farm’s newly installed anaerobic digester.
